Description

A studio portrait of a newly married couple, Schurihkenberg photographer, Pomona, ca. 1910s. The unidentified bride stands on the left next to her seated groom. The bride is holding a bouquet of carnations. She wears a tulle, floral wreath veil, cotton wedding dress, white gloves and shoes. The groom is seated on a wooden chair. He wears a three piece suit, tie, a carnation boutonniere and buttoned leather shoes. The image is adhered to a thin canvas paper type backing with a tassle attached at the top, perhaps for hanging purposes. With minor warping, darkening to the image, abrasions along the bottom edge of backing, it's in good condition.
