Description
A studio portrait of Anita Ysabel Ester Davoust (1855-1942), ca. 1910. The image was taken by Stephens Studio, Hill Street, Los Angeles, ca. 1910. Anita was the wife of John Harrison Temple (1856-1926). She is depicted here standing next to an open window, resting her right arm on the window pane. She is wearing a long dress with long sleeves trimmed with silk edges. She is also wearing a necklace and her hair is tied back. The photograph is pasted into a light cardboard folder with the photographer's studio name embossed on the front. The folder and photograph are in good condition despite the minor mirroring and other discoloration.
