Description

A studio portrait of John and Juanita Vigare Zorraquinos, ca. 1930s. The couple, who were principal dancers from the first performances of the long-running Mission Play from 1912 and were later choreographers once they stopped dancing, are shown in a head and upper torso view, with John wearing a beret and white shirt and Juanita in her play costume. A faded stamp at the bottom right has the name Stockton and location of Hollywood. With missing pieces at the top center and lower right edge, edge rubbing, a moderate tear, and browning, the condition is fair.
