A studio portrait of LeRoy Parker Swaine, by Frank G. Schumacher, ca. 1895. The full-length view shows the young man leaning against what looks like a cement cylinder with a circular base, on which the subject rests his right foot. He wears a dark suit, black high-laced boots, a white shirt and an ornate patterned oversized tie or cravat. The photographer's name and address are embossed at the bottom and his information is repeated on the reverse. An ink inscription above that reads, "Le Roy Parker Swaine / nine years old." With some small stains, browning, light soiling, but a severe crease above young Swaine's head, the condition is fair.
