Description
A studio portrait of Lillian Balding Harter, Johnson, Los Angeles, ca. 1905. The image shows Harter from the knees up and she wears a uniform with a cap that is suggestive of a nurse. The photographer's cartouche is just below the portrait. On the reverse is a pencil inscription reading, "Aunt / Lillian Balding / Harter." With extensive foxing, a tear at the upper left, a few stains on the reverse and soiling, the condition is fair.
