Description
A studio portrait of the four Steinike children. Photographed by Comings, Los Angeles, ca. 1900. These are the children of Cristina Francisca Davoust (1868-1965). The four children are grouped together with Louis A. Steinike (1895-1962) in the front and George Frederick Steinike (1887-1950) directly behind him and William Henry Steinike (1888-1955) . The boys wear suits, Louis has lace trim and a large plaid bow across his chest. Florence K. Steinike (1892-1961) wears a lace trimmed, light colored gown. The photograph is in good condition with minor abrasion to the edges.
