A studio portrait of the nine-member Blackburn familyEntry/Object ID
2008.424.1.1Description
A studio portrait of the nine-member Blackburn family by F. C. Dando of Lamson Studios, Los Angeles, ca. 1905. The image shows Elihue and Zerilda seated at either end and their seven children: Porter, Oliver, Gertie, Elza, Mae, Ethel and William. There are inscriptions in ink on the persons, but because of lighter and darker clothing, only some are visible. With edge rubbing on the mount, at the bottom of which is the photographer's mark, and some stains on the reverse, the overall condition is good.
