The two wear white knee-length dresses with puffed shoulders and the elder girl, at right, has a ribbon on her left shoulder. The girls wear similar white flat shoes with silk bows. On the back in pencil is "Stewart Girls?" At the lower right of the matte is the photographer's cartouche. With some abrasions to the edge of the photo, matte edge rubbing and some soiling and stains on the back, the overall condition is good.
