Description
A studio portrait of young boy, Los Angeles, ca. 1895. Lawson, 147 South Main St., Los Angeles. Indoor studio, full length portrait of young boy about age twelve standing in front of an animal hide resting one hand on a wicker chair, one foot crossed over the other and one hand on hip. Dressed in dark suit jacket with satin frilled cuffs and collar, frilled shirt, knee length pants and a big light colored bow and pocket square. In good condition, minor surface soiling and acid burn on reverse.
