A subscription receipt from the United War Work Campaign, 13 November 1918. The triplicate of form number 8 has a receipt number, date, receipient's name, recipient's address, subscription amount, solicitor's signature, and other information. The campaign was an effort by the YMCA, YWCA, Salvation Army, National Catholic War Council (Knights of Columbus), Jewish Welfare Board, War Camp Community Service and the American Library Association, to raise funds for World War I. With a missing portion at the right edge, soiling, many creases, folds and fragility, the condition is poor.Lexicon
