2021.3.2.297Description
A telegram and envelope from Inez Fatjo in Palo Alto, California to Walter P. Temple, Jr. in Puente, California, 2 December 1936. In the Western Union telegram (a), Agnes Temple writes her younger brother using her married name. Agnes states that she will visit Walter next week and sends love to his wife, Nellie, and his daughter. She records the date as 2 December 1926, but this is a typo, as she was not married at that time, nor had Walter's daughter been born yet. The envelope (b) is postmarked for 3 December 1936, which confirms the mistake. With creases, minor discoloration, and minor loss, the objects are in fair condition overall.
