Description
A "thrift certificate" issued by the Los Angeles Banks School Savings Association, Los Angeles, 22 June 1928. Presented to a student at Ramona School, the item recognizes the child's "thrift record" in achivement in the classroom and "regular deposits to a School Savings Bank Account" and is signed by the president of the Los Angeles Board of Education, the school superintendent, the school principal and the association supervisor. With creases, edge tears, browning and soiling, the condition is fair.
