Description
A tintype of a young couple taken in a studio setting, ca. 1880. The photograph is taken against a wall and wooden floor boards. The man wears a suit including a vest, bow tie and chain as he sits with one hand tugging on his coat. The woman stands with one forearm rested on the man's shoulder. She wears a plaid cinched skirt with a straight profile, ruffled high collared shirt with corset underneath and a circular hat rests on top of her head. The item is in good condition with minor surface scratches and a slight horizontal bend at the center.
