Description
A tintype of a young man at Chutes Park in Los Angeles, California. 1902. A young man is sitting in a boat in front of the Chutes at Chutes Park. He is also holding a megaphone to his mouth with his left hand. Behind him is an image of people riding up the 75 foot tower and boats plunging into the water below. The back reads "Choot the Chute / TinType Gallery / Picture taken day or night / L.W. Kennett, Prop'r / Los Angeles, Cal." Under this paper is another that reads "First I ever / made / Joe / 1902." With foxing, a tear on the bottom and right, a small missing piece of the enamel layer to top right, the object is in fair condition
