Description

A tintype of four men (a) with a paper frame (b), Azusa, California, 1889. The image shows two men seated at the center and they are flanked by men on either side. The one at the far left standing wears a white apron and the group all are smoking cigars. The image was stored in a paper frame, on the back of which are the names of Jack Hakaway, John Crawford, Nelson Dean Williams, and Ted Lane, all from Azusa. Also on the back is the name "Hank Williams" and on the front is "1889 Hank W." The paper frame is torn, soiled, stained and rubbed, but the image is clean and the condition is good overall.
