A trade card for B. V. D. Compressed Yeast, 1883. The item has a color image of a goose, rabbit, duck, chicken, and turkey and two other animals (another rabbit and a crow?) at a table with the product name and date at the upper right and a seven-line poem at the bottom about the product being used as a feast held by Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany. There appears to be pencil markings over the last three animals on the right and damage on the back from the item's removal from a pasted-down album or similar display piece. With some edge rubbing, as well, the condition is good.
