A dual photograph of a trench for the Los Angeles Aqueduct, ca. 1909. The view is taken in a straight line with the trench, within which are workers, a wooden frame, a ladder and construction debris. Dirt and sand are piled to the sides and there are some workers standing at that area. The photo was taken by a University of Southern California student who worked on the project in 1908 and 1909. With slight curvature, some foxing on the reverse, and light soiling, the condition is good.
