A U.S. Geological Survey Map of the Glendale Quadrangle, edition of 1928, reprinted in 1948, topography surveyed in 1925. Included on the map is the Verdugo Mountains, San Rafael and Hills, Burbank, Glendale, Eagle Rock, North Highland Park, Highland Park, Griffith Park, Los Felis, Hollywood and Vitagraph Studio. Also included is the L.A. River, Forest Lawn Cemetery, Elysian Garden, Silver Lake Heights, Southwest Museum, Southern Pacific Railroad lines and Southern California Edison Power lines. On the reverse is information on topographic maps of the United States and a key guide of standard symbols, water and relief symbols. With moderate warping and minor creasing, it is in good condition.
