Description
A U.S. Geological Survey Map of the Artesia Quadrangle of 1945, topography surveyed in 1923, revised in part in 1933 and 1941. A portion of Norwalk is included as well as La Mirada, Los Coyotes, Artesia, Los Cerritos, Los Alamitos, San Gabriel River, City of Long Beach. Oil tanks are shown toward the top of the mad adjacent to Norwalk. Also, Excelsior Union High School and Hawaiian Gardens are included. On the reverse is information on topographic maps of the United States and a key guide of standard symbols, water and relief symbols. There is a minor fold to the top, left corner, moderate creasing along the edges due to handling, and moderate warping. It is in fair condition.
