A U.S. Geological Survey Map of the Watts Quadrangle, edition of 1924, topography surveyed in 1923. Cities shown on the map is a section of Los Angeles, Vernon, Huntington Park, South Gate, Watts, Athens, Lynwood, Compton, San Antonio, small section of San Pedro, and an area called Tajauta. Also visible is the Goodyear Rubber Company in Los Angeles and Russell School and the Southern Pacific Railroad line. On the reverse is information on topographic maps of the United States and a key guide of standard symbols, water and relief symbols. With minor warping to the edges, moderate acid burn on the reverse, it is in good condition overall.
