A U.S. Geological Survey Map of the Long Beach Quadrangle, topography surveyed in 1923, Long Beach ed. 1925, reprinted in1932. The map shows a portion of Los Cerritos, Signal Hill and the oil wells near the area, Los Alamitos, Alamitos Bay and an area above that called Naples, Recreation Park, Bixby Ranch, San Gabriel, San Pedro Bay, Pacific Electric lines and more. Within the cities are street names, city boundaries and more. A stamp on the bottom shows where the map was sold, by A. Lietz Company in Los Angeles. On the reverse is information on topographic maps of the United States and a key guide of standard symbols, water and relief symbols. At the top corner is a minor fold, and creases along the edges, it is in good condition overall.
