A U.S. Geological Survey of the Wilmington Quadrangle, edition 1935, topography surveyed in 1923. The map includes the cities of Wilmington, Thenard, Los Cerritos, Los Palos Verdes, San Pedro. Other areas visible on the map are the West and Turning Basins, East Basin Channel, Salt Ponds, Terminal Island, Fish Harbor, San Pedro Bay, Los Angeles Harbor, Southern Pacific Railroad lines, the Southern California Edison Company Power Plant, Point Fermin, Union Oil Refinery and more. An inscription written in pencil on the section of the San Pedro Harbor reads "HM Meyers 053290." On the reverse is information on topographic maps of the United States and a key guide of standard symbols, water and relief symbols. The map has moderate warping, a minor tear and pencil shading over letters and numbers "G1A153" on the bottom, right corner. It is in good to fair condition.
