A Valentine Day's card with a girl in a walnut shell, dated 1930. The die-cut card has an image of a young girl sitting within a half of a walnut shell, on which a message "All in a / Nut Shell / My Valentine" is printd. A small dog sits at one side. When the shell portion is opened forward, another message, reading "Why Nut-Meet / Me Half Way", within a heart is superimposed over the body of the girl. Written in pencil on the obverse of the nut shell is the year 1930. Also in pencil on the back is a dedicatory inscription. With small areas of abrasion and light soiling, the condition is good.
