Description
A Victor Records catalog with Cocoanut Grove music advertising on the wrappers, June 1929. The orange and black wrappers have tropical design elements (palm trees and monkeys) and give information on the appearance of Herman Kenin and his Victor Recording Orchestra at the famed club at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. Listings of new "orthophonic" records are given with text and some images and there are basic listings by genre and alphabetically. The centerfold has a bold Art Deco-style two-page ad for new Victor Radios and the next page has a small ad for a portable Victrola. Another ad, on the inside rear cover, is for recordings, including a new one, by the Kenin orchestra. With some browning and rubbing, the condition is good.
