Description

A Victorian-era home's foyer or entry hall, Dresser Photo Company, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The view shows one side of the hall, with the stairs on the right entrances to a parlor and another room at the left, some furnishings, including a table and side chairs and grandfather clock and decorative details like crown molding, wainscoting and electric light fixtures. Also of note, towards the left is a mountain lion hide on displayed on the floor. The photographer's stamp is at the bottom left. There are no identifying marks or features, but the stamp appears to be from the Twenties. With soiling, stains, foxing and adhesive damage to the verso, the condition is overall good.
