Description
A view from the La Casa Nueva east wing porch toward the southwest, ca. 1925. In the foreground is a portion of the southern end of the Mission Walkway with a bare trellis. There is also a thin tree at the right near the courtyard area. In the distance are some fields on the Homestead, including some new trees, probably walnuts, and a man with a horse, possibly tilling. Further in the background are some farm and ranch structures, the large white citrus packing house on Clark Avenue and the Puente Hills. As this print was made from the original negative, it is mint.
