Description
A view of a paved road in the Redwood Forest, ca. July 16, 1934. The winding road goes through a dense forest, likely the redwood forests of Northern California. Surrounding the paved road are trees, possibly Douglas Fir. Visible at the distance is an automobile. An inscription written in blue ink, on the reverse side provides the location "Thru Redwoods." Also on the reverse side is a photographer's stamp of "VELOX" and "ANDERSON/PHOTO SERVICE/JULY 16 1934/EL MONTE, CALIF." The photograph is in good condition.
