Description
A view of a Spanish Colonial Revival home at the Hollywoodland tract, Los Angeles, ca. 1924. The multi-level home with a grass lawn and landscaping appears to sit at the bottom of the canyon on which the subdivision was located. At the far right are portions of a roadway directional sign and what seems to be a "for rent" sign. At the background left are some undeveloped portions of the hills. Pencil inscriptions are for reprints and refer to "Velox", a 1920s era paper, and to "Roche," being John D. Roche, previous owner of item .1 and probably the others of the accession. With pin holes at the corenmrs, penciled margin marks on the front, soiling and creases, the condition is fair overall.
