Description
A view of two men on a road grader, El Monte, ca.1921. The image shows a man at the reins and another at the rear of the grader, which is drawn by several horses, working on a dirt road. At the bottom margin is the ink inscription "Uncle Bill at Wheel." On the reverse in pencil is "Uncle Geo Wiegand's Road Grader." The Wiegands were related to the Cleminson family and item .1 of the accession shows children from both families. With some soiling and minor edge rubbing, the condition is good.
