Description
A Westcott automobile parked in the middle of the San Gabriel River, 1923. The images shows the car with some passengers in the rear seat and a young man standing next to the car in the shallow river which flows in a wide bed near portions of the San Gabriel Mountains. On the reverse is a pencil inscription: "1923 / San Gabriel Canyon" while what appears to be a later inscription in pencil is "'21 WESTCOTT K15406." With some soliling, a few stains, and minor edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
