Description

"A White City," published by The State Anti-Saloon League of Southern California, ca. 1905. The tract has a lengthy essay on the need to ban saloons from Los Angeles and features a cover image of three sleeping children with the caption "Sleeping Innocence" and the rhetorical question "Shall the Rum Demon enter such heavenly chambers in Los Angeles and harm our helpless little ones?" With a horizontal half-fold, significant creases, dogeared corners, and soiling, the condition is fair.
