Description
A woman and boy watching an ostrich-driven cart, Los Angeles Ostrich Farm, Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles, 3 October 1915. The two stand at left on a wide dirt drive and look toward the vehicle heading in the opposite direction. A small wood structure and fencing are in the background and there are some large trees in the distance. On the reverse is an ink inscription: "Los Angeles Cal / Oct 3 - 15 / Ostrich Farm opp. East Lake Park / Ostrich trained to drive / AEC & Geo." With some light soiling, minor warping, and remnants of album paper tape, the condition is good overall.
