Description
A woman picking flowers from the porch of a home, possibly at Coronado, California, 1905. The elderly women leans over the rail and has a bunch of flowers in her left hand. While much of the porch, the front door, and most of a window are in view, it is unclear whether the home is one of two related to the convalescence of Elizabeth Olive Mary Fraser who died at Coronado on 29 January. Two homes, including one that burned in December 1904, are shown in Fraser's funeral pamphlet and this might be the one that was destroyed by the fire. There is an ink inscription on the reverse reading "MF gathering flowers." Aside from light soiling and what might be ink spots, the condition is overall good.
