"A Japanese Party: La Fiesa de Los Angeles," published by M. Rieder Publ., Los Angeles, postmarked 4 May 1903. The card is a colored photograph of white women in a flower-bedecked horse-drawn carriage, some of them wearing conical shaped hats and holding Japanese-style parasols. The caption is at the bottom, the publisher's name at the left, and a short message on the right. On the reverse is the address, stamp, postmark and cancellation. With some soiling, dogeared corners and edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
