Description
Actor George Osbourne of the Mission Play, San Gabriel, ca. 1914. The unattributed studio portrait shows the actor in an upper torso and head view with him wearing something like a high-button coat or cape and a high white collar. At the bottom is an inscription, "With best wishes / to you always" and his signature. Osbourne played the lead role of Junipero Serra in the 1914 and 1915 seasons and died in 1916. With album paper residue, stains, soiling and creases, the condition is good overall.
