Description

Color: Black; White A black and white negative of the adobe making area for La Casa Nueva, ca. 1922. In a clearing of a field, the area consists of large stacks of adobes in the front of a kiln at the left; smaller stacks at the center, perhaps of bricks removed from the kiln and at which there are two workers; and an area in the foreground in which bricks are laid out flat and on their sides, with a worker tending to these bricks. In the foreground are three small trees and the top of what appears to be a cement pipe. To the far left, behind the kiln, may be a small, temporary building and behind that, two large wooden poles, perhaps for electrical power. The artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
