A black and white aerial photograph of El Encanto Convalescent Hospital, ca. 1940s. The view is from the northeast with the Workman House at the right. Around the home are many trees and at the left of the home is the tennis court and drained swimming pool/reservoir. At the left of the home is the Water Tower, auditorium, dining hall, and garage. At the top right is La Casa Nueva with only the second floor visible through the the trees that surround it. Many walnut trees, bushes, and open fields are in the surrounding area. Across the bottom is, "EL [sic] Encanto Sanitorium." With creases; folds; pin holes at the corners; and a tear at the center of the top, the image is in poor condition.
