Color: Black; White A black and white aerial photograph of the Homestead site, 26 June 1921. At the center of the image is the H-shaped Workman House with its courtyard and the Water Tower at the left. The swimming pool / reservoir and tennis court are below the latter buildings. The driveways which flank the buildings connect to a third road, Evergreen Lane, which runs from the top right to the bottom left. It meets with Turnbull Canyon at the top and ends at the front of El Campo Santo Cemetery at the bottom left. At the left of Evergreen Lane are the auditorium, dining hall, garage, walnut trees, and San Jose Creek. Fields and crops surround the Homestead. Written in pencil on the top left of the back is, "Copy of aerial / #2172 6/26/21 / Spence Air Photos / 3614 W. Pico / Los Angeles 90019 / RE2-3055." With only small abrasions along the top, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
