A photographic negative aerial view of the Los Angeles Plaza area, ca. 1910. The image, taken from a balloon shows the circular plaza and its surrounding streets and buildings. The Pico House hotel and portions of the Merced Theater and Masonic Lodge, the Plaza Church, Brunswick Building, Olvera Street, and a section of the Chinatown later replaced by Union Station are notable. There is a piece of paper glued to the top, the origin and purpose of which is not known. With no noticeable signs of wear or damage, the condition is considered good.
