The background image is a color painting of a water-landing aircraft over an Arctic-like setting of ice and snow. Contents include material on a need for a national air academy, aeronautical expansion, investment in the industry, the views of Congressmen on an air service, 24-hour flights across the Atlantic, diesel as a fuel, women pilots, aviation competing with rail travel, and regular features. There are photographs, drawings, charts and tables as illustrations and many industry-related advertisements. In fair condition, the item's front cover is separated and there are spine and edge rubbing, cover brittleness, cover and page corner creases, cover surface soiling and light soiling on some pages, page yellowing, losses at spine ends, stains on the cover and several pages, and cover edge tears. The magazine is not exhibitable.Lexicon
