Edgar is next to Agnes and stands at the bottom of the yard steps behind a concrete pillar. He smiles at the camera and holds a woman in a type of head-lock who laughs with her her closed. A woman in a dark dress and heels leans on the pillar with her right elbow. She has her left arm around the shoulder of a woman on the far right who wears pearls, a long dark dress, and heels. Both of the latter women stand on a sidewalk. At the left of the foreground is part of the yard and a fence, and in the left of the background are three pitched-roof bungalows with porches. To the right of this is the sidewalk and a street. In the distance are trees and hills.
