Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple Fatjo and Luis Fatjo, ca. 1930s. The couple is at the center with Agnes at the left. She wears a hat, short-sleeve dress, and holds down her hat with her left hand while in her right she holds two books. Luis is at the right and wears eye-glasses; a cap; shirt with rolled-up sleeves; knickers; and long socks. He faces the camera and has both arms behind his back. The two stand in an open field where there is a row of trees and bushes across the background. It was a windy day judging by the condition of the trees and Agnes' dress. Stamped at several places on the back is the word, "VELOX." The photograph was housed in Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With only a stain at the back, the artifact is in good condition. Number-Units: 1
