Description

Color: Black; White A black and white reproduction photograph of Agnes E. Temple in a studio portrait by Whittier photographer Allan W. Ramsey, 1907. The infant is seated in a chair or a fabric-covered piece of furniture--it is unclear, because only a small portion of this can be seen. Agnes wears a long flowing white dress with intricate, though hard-to-see because of the lighting, embroidery and pierced work. This is on both the main part of the dress and at the hem, where there are some vertical stripes and embroidered designs. The occasion was, undoubtedly, a baptism. On the reverse of the original photo was a stamp for the photographer, who also shot baby photos of Agnes' brother, Thomas W. II. As a newly created copy photograph, the artifact is in mint condition. Number-Units: 1
