Description

AGNES TEMPLE AND CONSUELA ROCA IN SWIMMING OUTFITS, CA. 1922. A black and white reproduction photograph of Agnes Temple and Consuela Rocas in bathing costumes standing on the driveway near the southern entrance gate to the Water Tower, ca. 1922. Agnes, at right, wears a swimming cap and striped bath robe, tan colored calf-length hose, and heeled shoes. Behind the two is half of the entry gate, which does not survive, but is like others around the site today, and a plastered pillar with a lamp sconce. To the left is a mill stone, which may be the larger stone now in the LCN fountain. Background left is part of the original pump house. The photo, in mint condition, is from a negative owned by Ruth Ann Michaelis. Number-Units: 1
