AGNES TEMPLE AT LAKE TAHOE OVERLOOK, EMERALD BAY
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple Fatjo standing along a roadside and looking town to Emerald Cove at the southwest corner of Lake Tahoe, 1932. Agnes stands at right wearing a light-colored dress or skirt and blouse combination. She is hatless and has her arms folded in front of her as she looks down toward the bay. This body of water stretches across most of the lower half of the photograph and there is a small island at the lower left. Small portions of the landscape are at the left and right and at the lower right corner is a sliver of a dirt embankment on which Agnes stands. The date is determined by a photograph from the same trip that shows a dated license plate on the car, in which Agnes was driving. On the reverse upper edge, in black ink, is the inscription "Emerald Bay / Lake Tahoe." At the lower left corner is a stamped number "96." With some water damage and remains of mounting corners at the top edge of the front, the artifact is in fair condition.
