AGNES TEMPLE BY A CAR AT THE ROADSIDE, LAKE TAHOE
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple standing by a car along a road at Lake Tahoe, 1932. Agnes stands at the left with her left hand on the front right bumper of the dark-colored vehicle, which has a Lincoln nameplate on the upper portion of the front grille. The date is determined by the license plate, which has an added plate calling for the repeal of Prohibition. Agnes wears a light-colored dress with a dark collar, buttons, and scarf tied in the front. She also wears light-colored shoes with dark trim. The car is parked along the side of a road, probably the one that encircles the lake. A thick grove of trees is in the background. On the reverse lower left is the stamped number "96," while at the top is the inscription "Road by Lake Tahoe" in black ink. With significant water damage at the top edge, including a stain from adhered mounting corners, the artifact is in fair condition.
