Description

AGNES TEMPLE FATJO AND AN UNKNOWN WOMAN AT A TROPICAL LOCATION Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple Fatjo and an unknown woman at a tropical location, May 22, 1930. The pair are at the right with Temple standing on the left and the woman on the right. Temple wears a dark short-sleeved knee-length dress and a hat and has her hands clasped in front of her. The woman wears a hat, a light long-sleeved dress, and leans against a palm tree. Part of a road is on the far left and in the background are many palms. It was a very windy day judging by the appearance of the palms and the two women's dresses. On the back are stamps with the number, "604" and the words, "WEBCO PRINT / APR 22 1930 / MADE IN SAN JAN JOSE." The photograph was taken during Agnes Temple's honeymoon and was housed in her album, which is item 96.7.94.1, along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With water damage, stains, and a creased corner, the object is in fair condition. Number-Units: 1
