AGNES TEMPLE FATJO IN A GENOA, ITALY HOTEL ROOM DURING HONEYMOON
Color: Black; White
A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple Fatjo in her Genoa, Italy hotel room in Italy, ca. 1930. Temple is at center facing the camera and she wears what appears to be a camisol. She sits on the bed which has the comforter, sheets, and pillows scattered about. To the left of the bed is a night table with a lamp. At the foreground is a lounge sofa and the shadow of Luis Fatjo is on the right. In the background are two wallpaper-covered walls where there is a painting hanging at the top center. At the right of this is a door with an article of clothing hanging from a hook located in the middle. Written on the back in Temple's hand is, "regestering [sic] disgust / or alarm or / what have you! Rec'd Feb 10, 1930." The photograph was taken during Temple's honeymoon and was housed in her album, which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs, which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With water damage, stains, and some smearing of the ink at the back, the object is in poor condition.
