Description

Color: Black; White A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple with Inez Fatjo and Mackie Boy, ca. 1933. The group is at the center on a sidewalk. Temple stands at the right and wears a beret, long dark-colored coat, and gloves. She holds a dog leash with both hands and looks down at Fatjo who sits in a baby carriage at the left. The child wears a bow in her hair and a sweater. Her right arm extends out as she looks at the terrier which is at the right of the foreground. The dog faces to the left and has white fur, except around the eyes, ears, and the back of the neck where it is dark. At the left is the shadow of the photographer. Across the background is a hedge, bushes, and a row of two-story Victorian homes. Stamped at the top right corner of the back is the number, "23." The photograph was housed in Agnes Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. There are heavy stains along the top, and part of a mounting corner adhered to the top right, but the image itself is in fair condition. Number-Units: 1
