A black and white photograph of Agnes Temple with her dog, Mackie Biy, ca. 1930s. Temple crouches down at the top right on a paved walk. She wears a hat, dark coat, dark long dress, and heels. She holds the end of a leash to her stomach with her left hand, and the center of it out in front with her right. She looks down at the terrier that stands at the center near her feet and looks towards the camera. The dog has white fur with dark fur around the eyes, ears, and at the neck. At the left is a small brick wall, three steps, plants, and a planter. Some bushes are at the far right and a wall is in the background. The shadow of the photographer reflects off the pavement at the left of the foreground. At the top right of the back is the number, "791." The photograph was housed in Temple's album which is item 96.7.94.1 along with many other photographs which span 96.7.1.1-.93.1. Contact sheets 2000.159.1.1-.8 show the original positioning of the images within the album. With only a crease at the bottom right corner and a small stain on the top, the artifact is in good condition overall.
